 Duane Robert Snyder, age 54, of Dickinson died, Saturday, May 9, 2009 in Texas City. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, May 15, 2009 at Carnes Funeral Home 3100 I-45 North in Texas City, Pastor John Elliott, officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday.
Duane was born October 22, 1954 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Duane Bigler Snyder and Louise Carol Kauffman Snyder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Gulf Coast Four Square Church in Hitchcock. Duane was an avid Motorcyclist and a Red Belt in the art of Tae Kwon Do. He loved music and playing his guitar.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Pamela Gail Snyder, daughters, Allyssa Rachelle Snyder and Stacey Annette Richardson and husband David “Kip” Richardson all of Dickinson, son, Mark Alan Jennes, Sr. and wife Roxanne of League City, sisters, Sandra Jordan and husband Timothy of Trinity, and Teresa Anderson of Belmar, New Jersey, brother, David Snyder and wife April of Cape Coral, Florida, 5 grandchildren, Micah, Loryn, Marah, and David Richardson, Jr., and Mark Jennes, Jr.; numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Mark Jennes, Kip Richardson, Cristopher Scofield, Tim Jordan, Bill Rozelle, and Alton Dowden, Jr.
