Robert Mario Reyes 52 of Texas City died Monday, May 18, 2009 at Mainland Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 6:30 P.M. Friday, May 22, 2009 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston with the Reverend Johnny Angel officiating.

Visitation will begin at 5 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Robert was born November 21, 1956 in Galveston to Robert and Esther Reyes where he was raised and attended school. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as a carpenter in the construction industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Esther Martinez and a brother Henry Morales. He leaves to cherish the precious memory, the love of his life Niescha Allen; daughter Linda Reyes; three sons, Pete Benavides, Jose Benavides and Michael Reyes; two sisters, Esmeralda Silva and Hortensia Contreras; five brothers, Gilbert Reyes, Jose Reyes, Johnny Reyes, Johnny Reyes, Raymond Reyes and Richard Reyes; two step grandchildren Darius and Darion Wilson; caretaker and mother-in-law, Denise Allen Smith and 16 grandchildren.
