South Side Roller Derby to appear on KACC’s Lost Fidelity Show
Alvin, Texas -- The South Side Roller Derby will make an on-air appearance on the Lost Fidelity Show at 89.7 FM KACC radio in Alvin, Texas this Friday, May 29, at 3 p.m. The South Side Roller Derby is a professional roller derby league located south of the city of Houston.
“We have been looking forward to having the South Side Roller Derby girls on the air for a while,” Lost Fidelity Show host Brad Denison said. “I think it’s great that KACC is able to contribute to the rebirth of the sport of roller derby.”
The South Side Roller Derby will be on the air answering questions about their league and how to get involved. Listeners are encouraged to call KACC at (281) 756-3897 and be a part of the show. “We are thrilled to get a chance to be on the radio,” Esther Conolly, vice president of the South Side Roller Derby stated. “It is so refreshing to have a radio station like KACC supporting local groups like ours.”
Lost Fidelity airs each Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and is hosted by Denison and David Rangel. The show is dedicated to highlighting deep cuts of classic and modern rock. It also addresses topics of interest in pop culture. KACC, which has developed a reputation for promoting local events, is licensed to Alvin Community College and functions as a laboratory for students pursuing degrees in broadcast communications.
