Brazoria County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to renew a disaster declaration ordering a burn ban and prohibiting the use of aerial fireworks, with the exception of professional displays, during the Fourth of July season.

The order will remain in effect until drought conditions, which are favorable for the ignition of wildfires, have been determined to no longer exist by the Texas Forest Service. Preliminary Minutes of Meeting
