Pearland City Council, at a special meeting on Monday, voted unanimously to elect Felicia Kyle as mayor pro tem.

The city council voted unanimously to appoint former city council member Helen Beckman to the Pearland Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.

The city council voted unanimously to approve a resolution authorizing City Manager Bill Eisen to enter into an agreement for aerial reconnaissance and disaster response reconnaissance.

The city council took no action regarding economic development incentives. The item was discussed in executive session.

During a separate special meeting, the city council canvassed the results of the June 20 run off election. Scott Sherman, the winner of the June 20 election, took his oath of office, which was administered by Justice Jim Sharp.
