Fireworks Facing Hottest Sales Days - All Aerial Fireworks Legal!
Fireworks sales will boom (pun intended) on July 3rd and 4th as people celebrate their freedom with fireworks, as they have for more than 200 years.
Up to 80 per cent of fireworks sales occur the final two days of the season. Stores will be packed. Top Dog’s largest store on 290 will have customers lined up outside waiting for a shopping cart so they can buy their fireworks. (Under state law, customers cannot handle fireworks until they have paid for them; workers have to take the product off the shelf and put it into the carts.) Fireworks can be sold up until midnight July 4th.
Some folks are confused about which fireworks can and cannot be sold and used. The only fireworks that are not being sold this season due to the dry weather are stick rockets and missiles with fins. All aerial fireworks are legal. Stick rockets and missiles with fins have been pulled because one cannot control where the stick comes back down. Aerial fireworks are ignited in the sky and dissipate before hitting the ground. There are hundreds of aerial fireworks for sale, along with dozens of smaller items.
