Norma Elizabeth Stubbs, 81, of Galveston, passed away June 24, 2009, in Yuba City, California.  She was born December 14, 1927, in Galveston, Texas, to Thelma and Sidney Stubbs.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Sidney P. Stubbs, Jr., and John E. Stubbs.  She is survived by her nephews, Sidney P. Stubbs and Toby Stubbs, of Yuba City, CA.

Her family will receive visitors beginning at 6:30 pm, Thursday, July 9th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, led by Deacon John Pistone.  Norma’s ashes will be interred on Friday, July 10th, at 10:00 am, at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson.
