Henry C. King, 44, departed this life on Monday, July 6, 2009, at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City.
Henry was born on May 22, 1965, in Galveston to Norma Jean King and Henry Chatman. A life long resident of Galveston he was employed in the offshore industry before becoming disable.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents: Dorothy Cola, Lois Robinson; Isaac King, Sr. and Roosevelt Robinson; uncles, Willie and Matt Cola.
He is survived by his brothers, Steven King (Cathy), Joseph King (Alyshea); uncles, Isaac King, Jr. (Lynda), Daniel Cola (Willie Mae); aunts, Maxine C. Jones (Melvin), Helena Cola (Walter); stepfather, Charles Dorsey; special friend, Elaine Armstrong; nieces, Norma and Caylyn; nephews, Steven, Jr., Floyd and Caleb; aunts, Joyce Horton, Patricia Florence; uncle, Roosevelt L. Robinson.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2009, in the chapel of E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. Louis Simpson, Jr. officiating.
