Brazoria County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with the Village of Surfside to construct a 2.7 mile asphalt recreational trail along Bluewater Highway.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to declare the cattle barn located on the Brazoria County Fairgrounds as salvage property.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an advanced funding agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the construction of a deceleration lane and entrance ramp at County Road 101 and State Highway 288, with a two-lane concrete access road tie-in.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an order authorizing the Brazoria County Health Authority to limit providing adult immunizations to Wednesdays between 8-10 a.m. at clinics that are open during that time.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to authorize the health authority to close the Manvel Clinic from August 1 to September 15.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to authorize the Health Director to extend the eligibility of the indigent health care clients to six months.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to advertise for bids for disaster and storm debris removal and hauling.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to advertise for bids for construction on the East Annex Adult Probation Department and the East Annex re-design project.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve recommendations in possible litigation with Hart InterCivic, Inc. The item was discussed in executive session.

The purchase of 2.76 acres of land in West Columbia for the Road and Bridge Department was approved in open session. An executive session item was not held on the matter.

The city council took no action regarding possible litigation concerning J.E. Dunn, Inc. The item was discussed in executive session.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
