Rodel Muse
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary

Rodel MuseRodel Muse, 59, departed this life on August 3, 2009, at his residence.

Rodel was born April 12, 1950, in Galveston to Ezekiel, Sr. and Willia  Muse. He attended school in Galveston before moving with his grandparents to San Francisco, CA. In 1982 he returned back home to Galveston, where enjoyed working as a laborer and caregiver. Rodel was a friend to all and loved to cook, and was very good at it.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He leaves with precious memories; sisters: Mattie Muse, Avis Muse (Ed); brothers: Otis Muse (Thomasene), Ezekiel Muse III (Sandra)and John Calvin Muse; stepsister: Delores Davis; devoted cousin, Beatrice Joe; nephews: Keelan Muse, Anthony and Eli Antoine, Jr. and Sylvester Joe; nieces: Annese Joe, Latissa and Nataria Muse;  special friends: Luke Morgan IV, Ella Tucker, Irma Francois, Betty Franklin and Johnnie Jones; host of relatives and friends  

Visitation will be held from 8-10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 11th with funeral service at 11:00 AM in the chapel  of E R Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. N.D. Burkley, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
