In appreciation for her commitment and dedication to the community and public education, Alvin Community College President Dr. Rodney Allbright (left) presented a resolution to Cleo Congrady on Aug. 25. The ACC Board of Regents unanimously approved the resolution honoring Congrady during a recent board meeting.
Congrady served in public education for nearly 40 years, including 21 years as a faculty member for the English Department at ACC. She has served as president of the Alvin Museum Society for many years and was instrumental in the development and creation of the organization, the city’s historical museum on Sealy Street and Marguerite Rogers House Museum on Dumble.
