The golden oldies will be out in force to celebrate Lamar State College Port Arthur’s Centennial Celebration with music and dancing. “We are proud to have Johnny Preston who recorded, “Running Bear” and the Dixie Cups of the famed “Chapel of Love”, both having #1 billboard hits and will perform on the same stage”, says Dr. Sam Monroe, President of the college.
