Mrs. Dorothy Helen Schulz Reed, age 92, of Marietta, Ga., died Saturday October 3, 2009.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 10th, at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, with Rev. Doug Guthier officiating.

Mrs. Reed was a native of Galveston and was retired from Southwestern Telephone Company as a telephone operator.

She is survived by her son, Cecil R. Reed Jr., and wife Betsy, of Marietta, Ga; brother, Hubert C. Schulz Jr.; grandchildren: Chad Reed and wife, Alicia, of Marietta, Ga., Bart Reed and wife, Caroline, of Atlanta, Ga., and Katy Reed, of Kennesaw, Ga.; great grandchildren; Shelby Reed, Wyatt Reed and Kethan Reed; and several nieces and nephews.
