Freda was born April 19, 1965, in Galveston, Texas. She attended public school in Galveston and was a Ball High School graduate. She was a longtime resident of Houston and was employed with Schlumberger.

She leaves precious memories with, her son, Anthony Davis, daughters, Ricketta, Kristal and Natalie Davis and Brittany Sam; grandchildren; Jankin Middleton, Marquis Tarver, Keambre and Denay Thomas, Christopher Norman, Daylan and Anthony Davis, Jr. parents, Tommie L. and Mable Davis; one brother; three; devoted friends, Robin Danzler and Yvette Rittenhouse; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Saturday, October 10th, followed by a service celebrating her life at 11:00 AM at the Avenue L Baptist Church (2612 Ave. L), Rev. E. R. Johnson, Pastor, Rev. Lorenzo Williams officiating.   Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
