Elsa Suayan Villano

Elsa Suayan VillanoElsa Suayan Villano, 69, passed from this life at home surrounded by her family October 20, 2009. She was born  November 24, 1939, in the province of Batangas, Lemery, Philippines.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Amparo Mendoza and father, Rafael Suayan.

Elsa graduated from Manuel L. Quezon University School of Law receiving a bachelor of Law in April 1963. She married the love of her life Vivencio in May 1973 at San Miguel Cathedral in the Philippines. She came to the United States arriving first in New Jersey 1974 moving to Galveston, Texas in 1975. She was employed at American Indemnity Insurance Co. for twenty years. In her retirement she enjoyed gardening and caring for others.

Elsa is survived by her husband Vivencio Villano and son, Amerfino Villano, her two brothers Renato & Benjamin Suayan, She also leaves behind the beloved Suayan family of Galveston and Villano family of Dallas, Texas.
Visitation will be on Thursday October 22, 2009 from 5 to 8 PM and Friday October 23, 2009 from 5 to 8 PM . A Rosary will be recited 6:45pm on Friday all at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston. Mass will be 1:00pm Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Entombment following at Cavalry Catholic Cemetery in Galveston.
