Renacia Videria ScottRenacia Videria Scott, 31,departed this life on Tuesday, October 20, 2009.

Renacia was born on October 6, 1978 in Galveston to Roy James and Theretta Gayden Scott.   At an early age Renacia was baptized at Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church by the late Rev. E.M. Harris. She later united with Bible Days Revival Church under the leadership of Apostle E.W. Wilcots, where she was a participant in the drill team.  Renacia attended Galveston Public Schools in addition to Heritage Christian Academy. She was a health care provider. 

Preceding her in death were her paternal grandmother, Willie Richardson and maternal grandmother, Gladys Hawkins Bonner.

 Left to cherish memories are her loving mother, Theretta Gayden Scott Miller (Galveston); father,  Roy James Scott and wife Connie (Lake Charles, LA.); sisters, Tashaka Althea Gayden (Dallas), Annie Lee Scott (LaMarque); brother, Ryan LeRoy Scott (Houston); step-brother, Terrance Williams (Lake Charles, LA.); grandfather, Willie Gayden and wife Bessie (West Texas City); boyfriend, Nathaniel Edwards (Galveston); devoted friends Beverly Wells and Nathaniel Edwards, Sr.; special aunt, Minnie L. Scott (LaMarque); aunts, Bobbye Scott (LaMarque), Glory Smith (Hitchcock), Annie Marie Scott (Galveston), Shirley Ann Jones (Galveston), Cheryl Gayden Hicks (Missouri City) and Adele Stoval (Galveston); uncle, Anthony Gayden (Missouri City); nieces, Cheretta Smith and Jamari Gayden; nephews, Isaiah Hatter, Albert Hatter, Tyrell and Tyreek Gayden; great nephew, Brayden Smith  and numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, followed by a service celebrating her life at 12 Noon in the chapel of E R Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. Louis Simpson, Jr. officiating.
