The Alvin Community College 34th Annual Fall Festival & Carnival was held on October 24.







Aleah Barajas (left), 8, of Alvin, shows her mom, Tina, the grand prize award for best costume she won at the carnival . Aleah competed as an “Alien Abduction.” The costume contest is hosted by the Alvin Nursing Student Association each year.

 









Kayleigh Valdez, 3, of Alvin, has fun on one of the rides at the 34th Annual Fall Festival & Carnival at Alvin Community College on Oct. 24. The event gives many local nonprofit organizations an opportunity to raise funds for scholarships and projects and for students in need this holiday season.
