The Brazoria County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to set criminal penalties for use or possession of glass products on the county's beaches.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve the temporary use of County Road 300J for the "Ghosts along the Brazos" event hosted by the First Capitol Historical Foundation.

The commissioners court voted 4-0-1, with Donald "Dude" Payne abstaining, to approve a lease of the Fairgrounds Parking Lot. Payne abstained due to serving on the Fair Committee.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with Brazoria County Conservation and Reclamation District No. 3 for repair of the Timber Bridge over Chocolate Bayou, northwest of County Road 168.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an application by the Brazoria County Office of Emergency Management for grant funding under the Regional Catastrophic Planning Initiative, and that matching funds for the grant be allocated from budget line items in the current Emergency Management office budget.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve potential terms and conditions for a pass through funding agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for three projects along Highway 36.
