Pearland City Council

Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to approve an advanced funding agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the State Highway 35 Improvement Project.

The city council voted unanimously to authorize a performance agreement between the Pearland Economic Development Corporation and Signature Companies.

The city council voted unanimously to approve the first reading of an ordinance amending the city's Code of Ordinances to establish new criteria and regulations for the preservation and management of public trees in the city.

The city council tabled action on the Clear Creek Flood Control Project.

The city council voted unanimously to cast its votes for Ed Heathcott for the Harris County Appraisal District Board of Directors.

The city council voted unanimously to cast its votes for Rubye Jo Knight for the Brazoria County Appraisal District Board of Directors.

The city council voted unanimously to cast its votes for Lee M. Duggan, III for the Fort Bend County Appraisal District Board of Directors.

The city council voted unanimously to reappoint Harold Gentry to Position 3 and Venugopal Menon to Position 1 of the Health Facilities Development Board.

The city council voted unanimously to ratify the city manager's reappointment of James Gilbert to Position 2 of the Civil Service Commission.

The city council took no action regarding potential litigation associated with municipal utility districts. The item was discussed during an executive session.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Council Member Felicia Kyle was absent. Agenda
