Camelia Ingram, 72, received her reward of eternal rest on Saturday November 7, 2009, at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, TX.
Camelia was born December 4, 1936, in Wharton, TX to Louis Ray and Eula Stevens. She was a 1955 graduate of Central High School and retired from UTMB Pedi-Cardiology Dept. after 35 years of service. She was also a faithful member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Loraine Ray.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby Ingram, Jr. of Galveston, Gregory Ingram of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Bobby M. Ingram III Desiree Ingram Leoshia Bonilla 9dennis; great grandchildren Keena, Rodney, Franchesca, François and Tyler; brothers, Frank Ray (Tina ) of Wolcott, Conn. and Louis Ray, Jr. (Torsten Petrowitz) of Berlin, Germany; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 9 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2009, followed by a service celebrating her life at 11:00 AM in the chapel of E R Johnson Family Mortuary with Pastor A. W. Colbert officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery
