Lucille Pratt Glenn

Lucille Pratt GlennLucille Pratt Glenn left her earthly home, to be with her heavenly father on Monday, November 9, 2009, surrounded by her loved one's.

Lucille was born on February 3, 1926, in Mansfield, LA to Albert and Celie Pratt. She was employed at UTMB, retiring after 32 years of service. She received Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Hope B.C. in Mansfield. Upon arriving in Galveston, she became a faithful and longtime member of null Pilgrim B. C., where she served until she was no longer able, but she maintained her faith in her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lucy Pratt; brothers, Albert, Jr. and Robert Pratt, and H.L. Jones; granddaughter, Darlene Hall.

She leaves precious memories with her daughters, Rebecca Bell, Willa Richmond, Gloria Jean Boulet, Elma James, Brenda Cole (Fred) and Velma Pitre-Williams (Victor); 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister in law, Julia Pratt; devoted nephew, William Pratt; devoted friend, Irene Lee, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lucille will have visitation on today, November 13th from 4-8PM at E R Johnson Family Mortuary.

A service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 AM at the West Point Baptist Church, Rev K.W. Tillmon pastor and with her pastor, Rev. Lorenzo Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to the Alzheimer Association of your choice, in memory of Lucille Pratt Glenn.
