Brazoria County Commissioners Court

Brazoria County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to name Commissioner Mary Ruth Rhodenbaugh as representative and Stacy Adams as alternate for the Houston-Galveston Area Council 2010 General Assembly and Board of Directors.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to reappoint Charlie Singletary to the Tax Abatement Review Committee. The nomination for reappointment was made by Commissioner Dude Payne in Precinct 1.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to reappoint Tom Reid to the Tax Abatement Review Committee. The nomination was made by Adams in Precinct 3.

The commissioners court took no action regarding consideration of potential liability with J.E. Dunn. The item was to be considered for an executive session, but was cancelled and will be considered at a future meeting.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve standardizing business cards for the county.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to set a public hearing regarding regulatory signs in road construction zones for the Road and Bridge Department.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to hold and advertise a public hearing to consider action regarding the county's participation in the Texas Enterprise Zone Program.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
