Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA Presents League City’s Walk in the Park for Pets

On December 6, 2010, Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA will be returning to League City’s Holiday in the Park/Walk in the Park as it hosts the annual Pet Costume Contest.  Proceeds from the event and other donations help support the animals that are waiting for their forever homes at Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA.

This year’s Pet Contest winners will be awarded medals for ”Best Dressed”, “Owner/Pet Look Alike” and “Best Pet Trick” in a “Pawlympic” Ceremony at the end of the contests including a salute to our troops, at home and abroad.

Pet Contest Entry Forms can be found on the Holiday in the Park website at  or the Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA booth located behind the train caboose.  A donation of $5.00 for each event or $10.00 for all three events will be greatly appreciated.  The booth will also have information about Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA animals available for adoptions, information about volunteer opportunities, and items for sale including pottery and raffle items.

Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA has been serving the Houston/Galveston Bay Area since 1967.  Our primary mission is to find homes for the companion animals taken into our program, while providing them with necessary medical care and socialization skills until adoption.  We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.  We do not receive any government funding.
