CITY COUNCIL TO RECOGNIZE 2009 CHRISTMAS PARADE AND FESTIVAL
Santa Claus, committee members set to accept honor

The Beaumont City Council will recognize this year’s Christmas Holiday Festival & Parade with a proclamation during the regular Council Meeting on Dec. 1. Santa Claus will accept the recognition on behalf of the parade committee. In addition, a representative from the YMCA will speak about the Jingle Bell 5K Fun Run, and a representative from the Beaumont Yacht Club will speak on the lighted boat parade. Members of Westminster Children’s Center pre-K class will join Santa in presenting gifts to the Mayor and Council.

This year’s Christmas Holiday Festival and Parade includes four days of festivities, beginning Thursday, Dec. 3 with the official tree-lighting ceremony.
