Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to table a resolution authorizing the application for funds through the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response, or SAFER, grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The city council also voted unanimously to table a second application for a SAFER Grant. Both grant applications are for additional staff and volunteers at Pearland's fire department. The city council tabled both items to allow for the fire department to meet and give input on the grant applications.

No other items were on the agenda. All members were present. Agenda
