Allene Myrtle Stone, 92, of Galveston, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009, in Santa Fe, TX.

Her family will receive visitors from 3:00 until 5:00 pm, Sunday, December 20th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Monday, December 21st, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Rudy Soto officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.

Allene was born September 10, 1917, in Milam County, Texas.  She worked as a clerk at American National Insurance Company, retiring at age 70, after over 30 years of service.  She loved going for walks, traveling, and flower gardening.  Allene was a loving mother and grandmother and an all-around awesome lady.

Allene was preceded in death by her husband, William (Rocky) Stone; son, Roy Eugene McKinney; daughter, Judy Auzston; and stepdaughter, Carolyn Borel.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Steelman and husband, Ronnie; son, Billy McKinney and wife, Pat;  son-in-law, Mickey Borel; grandchildren: Don McKinney and wife, Barbara; Phyllis Caldwell; Ronnie Steelman, Jr. and fiancé, Maria Garcia; Tammy Auzston; Stacey McKinney and fiancé, Jody Campbell; Cynthia Casas and husband, Javier; Belinda Sevinsky; Tracy McKinney; John Borel; Denise Simpson; Jackie Mahony; Jennifer Castle; Katherine Chesson; Jill Wilder; and Michael Borel; 26 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; sisters, Sue Pagel and Jean Jennings; brothers, J. R. Dodson and wife, Doris; and Neal Dodson and wife, Nell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
