District Clerk Latonia Wilson's Holiday Cheer

Holiday Cheer has become an annual event. This year we celebrated our 6th year.
It was started by a simple idea; we wanted to develop our staff’s relationships with external co-workers within the county system. This event/idea has evolved over time.
While staying true to our original goal, we now include friends from the community.
Our first Holiday Cheer only consisted of desserts, music and wassail. After that event, we received feedback from some of the employees who were left out of the celebration due to health issues. Those suggestions were implemented the following year; we added finger foods. At some point, we added live entertainment, Santa and a few elves.
Almost everyone involved works for the legal system in some capacity. It is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our bonds with one another.
We’ve had local community business support for the last two years through Amoco and Sam’s wholesale club. The District Clerk’s office would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
