Phyllis Greenberg age 75, longtime Galveston resident, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at her isle residence in Galveston. Memorial services are 10:00am Monday, January 11, 2010 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Galveston.

Phyllis was born June 10, 1934 in Youngstown, Ohio to Clarence Shorts and Ida Mae Nichols Shorts. She attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. She came to Galveston in 1978 and was the Owner/ Broker of Greenberg Properties. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Galveston.

She leaves two precious daughters, Lori Check and Sherry Check.
