Dorothy Jean Bethea HerreraDorothy Jean Bethea Herrera, 77, born April 14, 1932, of Galveston, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at her residence.

 

Her family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 14th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. 

 

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, January 15th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Baurs officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Old Catholic Cemetery in Galveston.

 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her great grandson, Luis Morales, III.

 

She is survived by her sons: Allen Ray Herrera and wife, JaNelle Busby; Dennis Ray Hartman; and Ricky Lynn Hartman; grandchildren: Dennis Hartman, II, and Wendy Hartman; great grandchildren: Dylan Hartman, Brooklyn Hartman, Michelle Martinez, and Myalee Martinez; sister, Lee Criss; special friend, Janet Harvey; former daughter-in-law, Barbara Jane Hartman Rodriguez; sisters-in-law, Viola Bethea and Theresa Bethea; nephew, Capt. Dennis Padron and wife, Lillie; and niece, Jackie Peacock and husband, Dr. Milton Peacock; and best friends, Ted and Tyra Ochoa; and numerous other relatives and friends.
