Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to designate Mayor Tom Reid as the chair of the Development Authority of Pearland for a one-year term.

The city council voted unanimously to reappoint Reid to serve on the Development Authority board for a two-year term.

The city council voted unanimously to approve the Parks, Recreation and Beautification Board's bylaws.

The city council voted unanimously to approve the first reading of an ordinance temporarily altering the city's residential wastewater cap calculation.

The city council tabled action on a construction management contract and inspection services associated with the Knapp Road/State Highway 35 Utility Relocation Project.

The city council took no action regarding Municipal Utility District No. 6.  The item was discussed in an executive session consultation with the city attorney.

The city council took no action regarding the sale, purchase or exchange of real estate.  The item was discussed in an executive session.

The city council took no action regarding economic development incentives.  The item was discussed during an executive session.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote.  Council Member Steve Saboe was absent.  Agenda
