Robert Allen “Bob” McCulleyRobert Allen “Bob” McCulley age 68, of Kerrville died Monday, January 25, 2010, at Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home with the Reverend J.C. Dorman officiating.  Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock under the direction of Carnes Brothers Funeral Home of Galveston. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 noon on Thursday.

Bob was born November 5, 1941 in Galveston, Texas to James Robert McCulley and Billie Kierbow McCulley. He was a 1958 graduate of Ball High School. He earned his Bachelor and Master in Education from Texas State University in San Marcos. Bob was a school administrator in Bay City before retiring to Kerrville. He was an avid tennis player, playing many benefit tournaments for the United Way and other charities.

Preceded in death by his father; survivors include his wife, Jo Carole “Jody” McCulley of Kerrville; mother, Billie McCulley of Galveston; an aunt Martha Groves of La Marque; a cousin, John Hamilton of Houston;  numerous other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers are friends and family members.
