Winning design for the official Mardi Gras poster by Krewe of Who

GALVESTON, Texas – The Krewe of Who poster design was voted the official Mardi Gras Galveston 2010 poster. The announcement was made this evening at the Mardi Gras Poster Unveiling at the San Luis Resort, Spa and Conference Center.    

The Galveston Island Facebook fan page received over 4,400 votes on the six designs submitted by different krewes. Krewe of Who won by 49 percent.

“We were excited we won, we didn’t even expect it,” said Tony Stadelman, vice president of the Krewe of Who. “It’s just really nice to see so many people participate in Mardi Gras and have fun with it, like the krewe members do.”
