The Bolivar Lighthouse Krewe held its 2010 Mardi Gras Ball on Saturday.
 
The event was held at Coconut's Restaurant & Pub.

King Larry Skiles and Queen Bekki Salling took reign at the event, as well as the 2010 Court of Royalty.

The Bolivar Peninsula Lighthouse Krewe Mardi Gras Parade will be held on Highway 87 on the Bolivar Peninsula at 11:30 a.m. on February 13. The parade starts across from Coconut's and ends at Gregory Park.

"For those of you needing an application to enter your float, trailer, golf cart, etc. please call the Bolivar Chamber of Commerce (409) 684-5940 or Anne Willis, parade captain, (409) 457-7400," said Pamela Couch, who provided the photos and maintains the Crystal Beach Local News website.
