Galveston Firefighters Children's Parade

Mardi Gras Children’s Parade - Attention all kids and area families, Galveston’s Mardi Gras most anticipated parade, the 6th annual Galveston Firefighters Children’s Parade will be on Sunday, February 14th at 2:00 p.m. The 2010 parade celebrates “A Salute to Hollywood”, with costumed kids and decorated floats. The parade begins at 27th Street and Seawall and proceeds to 47th Street ending at the Academy parking lot. Adult volunteers are needed to walk the parade route.

The parade is coordinated by the Galveston Firefighters and is solely dedicated to children and their opportunity to participate in Galveston Island's Mardi Gras celebration.  Poster
