Larry Denton
Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary

Larry DentonLarry Denton, 45,  has moved to his eternal address on  Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Larry was born February 25, 1964, to Ina Mae and George Denton, Sr. in Galveston, Texas.  He was best known for his humor and loving nature.

Larry was preceded in death by his father; sisters, Linda Stevenson and Sharon Jack;  grandparents, uncles, and one aunt.

Larry leaves to cherish memories of his laughter and love, daughter, Tonya Simpson (Adrian); granddaughter, Ariel Dixon of Houston; mother, Ina Denton (Jimmy) of Galveston; sister, Tamela Saldona of Austin; brothers, George Denton, Jr., Tyrone Denton, Sr. (Kim) of Galveston, Tim Denton, Sr. of Houston; aunts, Mary Ford of Houston, Mary Denton, Ella Oliver, Amelia McGill, Dianne Tisino, Gloria Tisino  all of Galveston; uncles, Ernest Denton, Cary Tisino, Jr. both of Galveston; god-brother, Eric Williams; god-mother, Melba Subject ; special friends, Rockette Simpson, Jimmy Cooper, Charles Glenn; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing will be held from 9 AM to 12 Noon, on Saturday, February 20, 2010, in the chapel of Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary, followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Galveston.
