Christopher Lynn Stoker
39, of Texas City, Texas received his reward of eternal rest on Sunday, February 14, 2010. On December 16, 1970 a baby boy was born to James and Pearlie Mae Stoker, they named him Christopher. Christopher was employed with the City of Texas City for 17 years, he also worked for Diamond Refinery, and was currently employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Marsulex Refinery.
Christopher was preceded in death by his father, James Thomas Stoker.
He leaves to cherish the memories of his life, wife, Cheryl Lynn Stoker; daughters, Aundrea Clark, Ashialay Stoker; grandchildren, Jordan Washington, Jayden Clark; mother, Pearlie Mae Stoker; sister, Janice Stoker; special friends and family, Gwendolyn Settler (Michael, Sr.), Jacqueline Davis (Myron), Kenneth Temple, Sr., Kizzie Cockrell, Bobby Sanford, Joann Taylor, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to the medical staff of Exxon/ Marsulex Refinery.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 19th, from 4- 8:00 pm at Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary (3828 Ave. O). A service to celebrate the life of Christopher will be at 11:00 am Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Greater St. Matthews Baptist Church, (6333 Hwy 6, Hitchcock, Texas 77563) Rev. William Randall, Jr., Pastor, Rev. A.W. Colbert officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX.
