Mary Ann (Molly) Yeager

Mary Ann (Molly) YeagerMary Ann (Molly) Yeager, 82, of Galveston, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City.

 

Molly’s family will receive visitors after 5:00 pm, Tuesday, March 16th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held at 6:00 pm.

 

Funeral Mass will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 17th, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father E. J. Stein as Celebrant.  Burial will follow the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

 

Molly was born December 31, 1927, in Galveston, Texas.  She worked as an X-Ray Technician at St. Mary’s Hospital for 3 years and for the Orthopedic Clinic for 47 years, retiring in 2000.  Molly loved cooking for her family and friends and could often be found donating her money to the one-armed bandits at Coushatta.  She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

 

Molly was preceded in death by her father, Charles Bernard Yeager, Sr.; mother, Mary Catherine Clinch Yeager; brothers: Charles, Henry, Tommy, James, Jackie, and Steve Yeager; and sisters, Julia and Agnes.

 

She is survived by her sister, Theresa Benge and husband, Bob; brothers, Larry Yeager and wife, Patricia; Paul Yeager and wife, Toni; Phillip Yeager; Mike Yeager and wife, Pam; and Pat Yeager; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

 

Pallbearers will be Steve Yeager, Lawrence Yeager, Robert Yeager, Mickey Yeager, Joey Yeager, Kenny Benge, Vincent Yeager, and Danny Yeager.

 

Memorials may be made to Holy Family Parish (St. Patrick Catholic Church), 1010 35th Street, Galveston, TX 77550.
