Annie Theresa St. Marie

Annie Theresa St. MarieAnnie Theresa St. Marie, 92, of La Marque, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Gambles Personal Care Home in Texas City.

Her family will receive visitors beginning at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 17th, at James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am followed by burial at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock.

Annie was born September 2, 1917, in Hitchcock, Texas.  She married Fred St. Marie and became a resident of La Marque, where she spent her life caring for her husband and family.  Annie’s greatest love in life was for her family.  She was an excellent cook and baker and an avid flower gardener.  She enjoyed having coffee every afternoon with her brothers and sisters, and her grandson was one of the most important people in her life.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Radler; loving husband of 58 years, Fred St. Marie; brothers, John and Mike Radler; and sisters, Mary Koban, Minnie Scott, and Helen Oliphant.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly St. Marie; son, Fred St. Marie and wife, Theresa; grandson, Hunter St. Marie; brothers, Joe Radler and wife, Ruth; Frank Radler and wife, Mary Lou; and Bobby Radler and wife, Carol; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Annie’s family would like to thank Gambles Personal Care Home and AMED Community Hospice for their compassionate care.
