Mary Ella Dergin, 52, departed this life on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in Manor, Texas.

Mary Ella was born October 19, 1957, in Galveston, to James Priestly, Sr. and Mattie Nolan. She was formerly employed with Galveston I.S.D. and was  a Home Health Provider.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; and brothers, Allen, Roosevelt, Floyd and Lawrence Nolan.

She is survived by her sons, Aaron Deyon, Jr., Lawrence Zeigler; daughter, Ashley Deyon; stepchildren, Gerron and Davette Simmons, and Danette Dergin; four grandchildren; sister, Gloria Freeman; four brothers, Mike Nolan, Leroy , James, and Anthony Priestly; special friend, Earnest Fontenot; a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin today, Saturday, March 27th, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a service celebrating her life at 11:00 a.m. at West Point Baptist Church with Pastor K.W. Tillmon officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
