Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary

John Ray SenegalJohn Ray Senegal, 50, departed this life on Monday, April 5, 2010, at UTMB Hospital.

John was born October 12, 1959, in Galveston to the late Wilson V. and Annie Mae Senegal.  He attended Ball High School and was a self employed Auto Mechanic.

John was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved and devoted companion Mary L. Allen "Louise"; sister, Mary Senegal.  He is survived by daughter, Regina Davis; grandchildren, Jaylen, Aiyana, Nicholas, Dallas; brothers Wilson Senegal, Jr. (Edith),  Esdras J. Senegal (Rosie), and Allen J. Senegal; sisters, Ann Senegal, Patricia Senegal- Ellisor, and Alvina Johnson; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  Special thanks to Mrs. Gloria Ellisor and Juanita "Drippper" Lavine. 

Visitation will be held 4-8:00pm today, April 9th.  A service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 AM,  Saturday, April 10, 2010 in the chapel of Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary(3828 Ave. O) with Pastor Alice Faye Booker officiating.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
