Sharon was born October 9, 1954, to Ellen McNeal in Galveston, Texas.  She was employed with UTMB Housekeeping and Pediatrics Departments until her health failed.  Sharon was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.   She was a dedicated wife, mother, and most of all a loving grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, four sisters, two brothers, and her godson.  She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Lionel Fields, Sr.; devoted children, Ellen "Tiny" Gonzales (devoted son-in-law Cedric Gonzales, Sr.), Cynthia "Snocka" Williams (Tony Davis), and Lionel Williams (Radine Coleman); devoted grandchildren, Kanisha Turner, Cedric Gonzales, Jr., Dominique Gonzales, Lionel Williams, Jr., Raj'a Williams; brothers, Tommie McNeal, Willie McNeal, Charles McNeal (Linda); devoted friend, Evelyn Bullard; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family will receive visitors from 11 AM to 12:45 PM, followed by a services celebrating her life at 1:00 PM, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Galveston, with Pastor A.W. Colbert, officiating. Pallbearers will be Men of Distinction of Macedonia Baptist Church
