The Board of Trustees of the Galveston Wharves has called a special meeting for Thursday.
The board will consider a report from the port's legal counsel and consultants on a review of port policies and procedures.
Following that item, the board will meet in executive session to discuss several legal matters involving pending litigation and settlement offers, including the case of Carnival Corporation et al vs. the Board of Pilot Commissioners for Galveston County Ports, et al.
The board will also discuss cruise terminal parking, operating, financing and construction agreements in executive session. Also on the agenda's executive session is discussion of personnel matters, economic development negotiations and security matters.
