Responding to Newest NASA Budget Proposal
“I still have concerns that the proposed cuts to the human space flight programs at NASA will lead to a deterioration of the United States’ clear leadership in space exploration.
It is gratifying to know that President Obama listens to those most affected by NASA’s budget considerations. And, I applaud an apparent move to salvage some parts of the Constellation program.
I will continue to work with the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP), Mayor Parker and our delegation in Washington to urge full funding for NASA’s human space exploration programs to their fullest.”
