Mamie Theresa Cantini Cristelli
Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Mamie Theresa Cantini Cristelli, 85, of Galveston, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at her residence.

 

Her family will receive visitors after 5:00 pm, Wednesday, May 19th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held at 6:15 pm, led by A. J. Cuchia.

 

Mamie was born November 22, 1924, in Galveston, Texas.  She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy and a lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

 

Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, Ubaldo and Rose Cantini; husband, Bruno Cristelli, Sr.; daughter, Rosemarie Cristelli; and sister, Elena Ware.

 

She is survived by her son, Bruno Cristelli, Jr.; grandsons, Matthew and Anthony Cristelli, and their mother, Lee Cristelli; brother-in-law, Ray Ware, MD; nephews, Kenneth and Allan Ware; and numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.

 

Mamie’s family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Russell LaForte and his staff, especially Sharon Smith and Janis Layer, for their expert care of Mamie throughout the years.  They also wish to thank Mamie’s caregiver, Sharon Criado, for her compassion and loving care.

 

Memorials may be made to Holy Family Parish, 1010 35th Street, Galveston, TX 77550, or to your favorite charity.
