The Houston-Galveston Area Council/Area Agency on Aging invites you to attend Listening Sessions on the current and future needs of older Texans, living outside of Harris County. All sessions will take place at 10:00 a.m., at the following locations:

May 19, 2010, Rosenberg Senior Center, 1330 Band Road, Rosenberg, Texas 77471.

Individuals who would like to provide comment and cannot attend a Listening Session may complete a Needs Assessment Survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6MG6MHM or submit your views in writing to the Houston-Galveston Area Council/Area Agency on Aging, PO Box 22777, Houston, Texas 77227-2777.

H-GAC Area Agency on Aging serves older adults and caregivers in the 12 counties surrounding Harris County: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Waller, Walker, and Wharton.

H-GAC (www.h-gac.com) is a voluntary association of local governments and local elected officials from the 13-county Gulf Coast Planning Region, which includes an area of 12,500 square miles and more than 5.7 million people. H-GAC works to promote efficient and accountable use of local, state, and federal tax dollars; serves as a problem-solving and information forum for local governments; and helps them analyze trends and conditions affecting the region in order to respond to their needs.
