Brazoria County Commissioners Court on Tuesday voted unanimously to award a $5.307 million bid to Cross Roads Industries, Inc. for the County Road 58 Mobility Project.

Cross Roads Industries supplied the lowest evaluated bid of four submitted for the project.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to renew its contract for independent auditor services with Kennemer, Masters and Lunsford, LLC.  The original contract, which was for a three year term, expires on July 24.  The renewal is for a one-year period.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to authorize the county's Road and Bridge Department to assist the Brazoria County Fair Association by providing crushed concrete and fly ash in the barbecue area at the fair grounds.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 3 for law enforcement services.  Brazoria County MUD No. 3 proposed the agreement on behalf of itself and MUD No. 2 and No. 6.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with the City of Richwood for the construction of a portion of Camellia Street.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to proclaim the week of May 9-15 as National Police Week.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve waivers of penalties and interest on various delinquent property tax accounts.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to authorize an application for Bioterrorism and Cities Readiness Initiative Programs funds.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to grant a variance request by the Galveston County Consolidated Drainage District to allow truck travel on roads posted as no-thru-truck routes.  The route included in the variance is from County Road 135, along State Highway 35 and ending at County Road 281.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve a settlement agreement in the case of Micki Kalina, et al vs. Brazoria County.  The item was discussed during an executive session.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with the City of Manvel for the enforcement of subdivisions.  The item was discussed during an executive session.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote.  All members were present.  Agenda
