The Hitchcock Independent School District Board of Trustees on Tuesday voted unanimously to allow the City of Hitchcock to demolish a portable building at the district's property and to use the property as a parking lot for city vehicles during the day.
The school board voted unanimously to deny a minor boundary exchange with Santa Fe Independent School District. The property to be exchanged was located in the Sunset Creek Subdivision.
The school board discussed, but took no action regarding a reconsideration of configuration options for the district's campuses.
