Sandra was born April 17, 1959, in Galveston. The youngest of eight children, Sandra attended school in Galveston and was a 1978 graduate of Ball High School. She attended Galveston College one year for X-Ray Technician. Sandra was employed for 30 years at UTMB in the Transportation and Dispatching Departments. After retiring she enjoyed watching TV, mostly  CSI, NCIS and the Bernie Mac show.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, O'Neill Pete, Sr.; brother O'Neill , Jr. and grandparents.

She leaves with precious memories, her mother, Geneva Pete; son, Lonnie Pete and Yvonne; sisters, Barbara and Carolyn Pete, and Marilyn Randolph; brothers, Eddie, Reginald and Daniel Pete; granddaughters, Jordan and Alexis; unborn grandson, Lonnie ,Jr.; aunt, Jessie M. Patterson; nephews, O'Neill III, Andre and Aaron Pete, Donald Randolph; nieces, Tamika, Coleen, Chantell, Brittany, and Chasity; dear friend, Wesley Bibbs;  other close friends, Raven Moore and Cynthia Williams; co-worker of UTMB; other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the UTMB 9-C staff, Dr. Willis, Dr. Hatcher, Wesley Bibbs, Eric Hatcher, Andre Pete, Neil Pete and Aaron for their care for Sandra.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 AM on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a rosary will be said at 9:30 AM follow by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM with Father E. J. Stein, OFM celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galveston.
