Brazoria County Commissioners Court today voted to appoint Cathleen Sbrusch as a Brazoria County Health Director.
The county will pay a salary of $85,452 to Sbrusch for the position. Sbrusch replaces Dr. Leo O'Gorman, who retired from the position in July.
The commissioners voted to rescind a court order from August 10 to appoint Dr. Jeffrey Boswell as the Health Director and Public Health Authority.
The commissioners court voted to authorize the county's purchasing department to assist the Health Department in seeking a contract physician to manage the county's STD Clinic.
All other items were approved by unanimous vote.
