William Kent Coulter


William Kent Coulter (71) a veteran Houston newspaper rerporter, who covered city, county, space and other general assignment beats for the Houston Post and Houston Chronicle, died on Friday.
 
"He was an old-fashioned reporter who relied on shoe leather and an engaging personality to effectively cover his beats, especially county government,“ said Houston Chronicle editorial page writer David Langworthy in an article writen by Anita Hassan.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale, at 6900 Lawndale, between South Wayside and 75th.

Immediately following the services, there will be a reception at the Parador, 2021 Binz on the edge of the Museum District.
