William Kent Coulter (71) a veteran Houston newspaper rerporter, who covered city, county, space and other general assignment beats for the Houston Post and Houston Chronicle, died on Friday.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale, at 6900 Lawndale, between South Wayside and 75th.
Immediately following the services, there will be a reception at the Parador, 2021 Binz on the edge of the Museum District.
